1. The pond is a place to play.
Heart of Pepe (“HOP”) is a community gaming platform. By creating an account or playing a free table you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use the service.
2. You must be old enough.
Free play is open to anyone old enough to use the internet under their local law. Wagered modes are restricted by jurisdiction and minimum age (typically 18+, sometimes 21+). We geo-gate where required.
3. We bake you a wallet.
On signup we generate an Ethereum wallet for you. The private key is encrypted server-side and only ever decrypted to show you (after a fresh password check) or to settle a game you played. The wallet is permanently tied to your account and cannot be changed; you can withdraw funds or import the key into MetaMask at any time.
4. $HOP is a memecoin, not an investment.
$HOP is a fair-launch ERC-20. There is no team allocation, no treasury, no vesting unlock, and no governance gate. Liquidity is locked permanently (LP burned). A 5% transfer fee routes back to community prize pools. $HOP is not a security; it has no profit-sharing claim. Don't buy more than you can afford to lose, and check your local crypto laws.
5. Wagering = entertainment, not income.
All wagered tables are skill-based or transparently random. We don't manipulate game outcomes. We do take a small platform rake on wagered pots. If you suspect cheating, report it; we ban accounts that violate fair play.
6. You own your behavior.
Don't harass other players in chat or voice. Don't use bots, scripts, or third-party tools that give you an unfair edge. Don't try to break our smart contracts or our auth system. Bug reports are welcome and rewarded; exploits are not.
7. We can suspend accounts.
We may suspend or close any account that violates these terms, our Community Standards, or the law. We'll do our best to be transparent about why. Funds in custodial wallets remain yours and are returnable except where required to be held by law.
8. No warranty.
HOP is provided as-is. We don't guarantee uptime, latency, that any game will exist, or that the wallet RPC will respond instantly. We try our best.
9. Liability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've transacted on the platform in the 12 months prior to a claim. Read the long version with your lawyer if you want detail.
10. Changes.
We may update these terms; we'll bump the date at the top and announce big changes in the dashboard. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
